PLD Political Committee meets to hear reports from committees

The Political Committee of the Dominican Liberation Party (PLD) will meet this Sunday to hear the reports of the committees designated by that body to enforce resolutions of the former José Joaquín Bidó Medina Ordinary Congress.

The activity will take place in the Welcome Sandoval room of the National House of the Dominican Liberation Party (PLD), behind closed doors to members of the press who will receive explanations of the decisions taken after the meeting.

Among the reports presented are the organizational dynamics to be followed both in the national territory and in the foreign branches, the proposals of the regulations and instructions, arising from the legal mandate and the resolutions of the congress, as well as the profile for the different secretariats or bodies work, among others.

The meeting is attended by 42 of the 45 members of that party’s Political Committee with the presence of the chairman of the party organization and former president of the Republic, Danilo Media; the secretary general of the party, Charles Mariotti, and a board of directors consisting of Margarita Cedeño, Temístocles Mostás and Gonzalo Castillo.
