Rumor: Sonic Colors Remaster listed in Localization Company credits

Sonic colors

The German production company IKSample has a long storied history, providing localization services for the film, television and video game media (as you can see for yourself by reading the credits on the company’s website). Only one or two very interesting video game projects appear on the projects page and a person with eagle eyes has seen a remaster of none other than Sonic colors just sit there on the internet.

As emphasized by @BuienRadarNL in the tweet below, it’s mentioned in the company’s 2020 credits section, just Over there for everyone to see:

If you look around the rest of the website you’ll also see some rather confusingly named games – possibly just project code names like the ‘U-King – Zelda‘from 2017 is all to pass by (which was presumably the development name of Breath of the Wild). Alan Wake, which is said to return in Remedy’s next game, will be listed along with Final Fantasy IV

Further investigation may lead you to run for the salt and grab a squeeze – you’ll find the game again on the company’s About page, although it has important illustrations of Sonic Boom instead of colors. At this point, it’s impossible to tell if this is just a random error or if someone let something slip. Still, of all the 3D Sonics of the past twenty years, Sonic Colors (or Colors, if you prefer) is the best.
