Alex Kidd in Miracle World DX, developed by Jankenteam, looks like another welcome remaster of a much-loved retro title. The pleasant news for longtime SEGA heads is that it now has a set release date, arriving on the Nintendo Switch on June 24.
To celebrate the release date, it has a neat new trailer (via IGN).
It looks like a potentially excellent new performance; there will be new levels, modes and music, as well as the opportunity to experience the game in its original SEGA Master System form; we also had a conversation with the developers last year.
Price-wise, it will be $ 19.99 USD on the eShop and all other digital stores, but there is also a pretty special physical edition that can be pre-ordered from Signature Edition Games; the standard edition is $ 29.99 USD and the impressive Signature Edition is $ 54.99 USD. Unfortunately, the Switch versions are $ 5 more than the PlayStation / Xbox equivalents, which we can safely say is the good old Switch Tax cartridge. In any case, go to this page to view the possibilities.
