“Hotel Coppelia”, the movie of the moment, will hit Dominican cinemas on April 15. Director José María Cabral announced this.
“We already have a date for the premiere at CINEMA theaters in the DR! We are moving the date forward to April 15th. See you in the cinema !!! ”Said the director of the film and invited all people to support the film and enjoy it on the big screen.
“Hotel Coppelia” was recently acquired by the HBO platform and the best movies to watch in streaming from prestigious Forbes magazine are on the recommendation list.
The Dominican film has received very good reviews since it was released on HBO, HULU and Amazon Prime, as well as on the underground pages where it was copied illegally.
“Hotel Coppelia is illegal everywhere. I am not announcing anything new and several people have already sent me the apps and pages. I insist that we can see it together in the cinema, or if that doesn’t work out on the @ hbomax platform. I say this mainly because of the quality of the illegal version. Thank you 🙂 ”, said Cabral.
The film is based on the true stories of five women who made personal sacrifices during the 1965 Dominican Civil War to protect their beliefs and rights.
The cast includes Nashla Bogaert, Lumy Lizardo, Ruth Emeteri, Jazz Vilá, Cyndie Lundi.
It premiered at the Havana Festival and did the same at the Miami Film Festival on March 9.
