Correa’s homerun gives Astros a win | sport-

ANAHEIM– Carlos Correa broke the tie with a two-run homer in the ninth inning, and the Houston Astros split the honors in a short series by beating the Los Angeles Angels 4-2 on Tuesday-evening.

Kyle Tucker and Cuban Aledmys Díaz hit back-to-back homers in the second inning for the Astros, who started the season impressively 5-1 on their six-game road trip amid incessant booing from the Rival fans, who to blame them for the signal theft scandal in the 2017 and 18 seasons.






Carlos Correa's homer in the 9th inning puts Astros 4-2 past Angels




After starters Zack Greinke and Dylan Bundy had solid innings early on, Cuban Yordan Alvarez singled in the ninth off fellow countryman Raisel Iglesias (1-1), the new Angels closer.

Correa then hit a liner that hit the ball to the bottom of the video screen, above the right field wall of Angel Stadium. It was the first home run of the season for the Puerto Rican.

Ryan Pressly (1-0) took the win with a score of two innings.






Bregman homers for the 2nd day in a row, Astros again defeated A's




For the Astros, Venezuelan José Altuve 4-0. The Cubans Yuli Gurriel 4-0, Álvarez 4-2, Díaz 4-1 with a run scored and an RBI. The Puerto Ricans Correa 3-1 with one goal scored and two RBI’s, Martín Maldonado 4-0.

For the Angels, Albert Pujols 4-0. Cuban Iglesias 3-1.
