Cinema, as part of the expression of a particular reality, has been an exponent of the theme of religion. That’s why we recommend some bands referring to the anniversary in regards to Easter 2021 starting tomorrow. Here are my suggestions.

This epic, based on a novel by Lee Wallace (1880), has once again been a spectacular film. The story revolves around Judah Ben Hur and his family who have been victims of great injustice by his old friend Messala.
This amazing production of nearly four hours has drama and intrigue that leave the viewer thrilled, especially in the bender race scene. This shoot was an epic endeavor that paid off: a show that was never filmed.
She won 11 Oscars in 1959 and has a masterful shot for all the camera movements she could do. 340,000 yards of film were shot, which was a tough battle for John Dunning and Ralph Winters, his editors.

• Jesus of Nazareth
Endowed with a poetic sensibility in his images, Franco Zeffirelli embarked on this project about the life of Jesus of Nazareth, which ended as a television miniseries and was shown in two parts in some countries.
The setting is very well done and takes us back to the time when the director managed to gather a large number of good actors to achieve results that are loved by an audience always attached to religiosity.
The episodes are chronicled from the union of Joseph and Mary, the birth of the child in the manger, his ministry, passion, death and resurrection and the beginning of the Christian world for humanity.
• King of kings
The film’s script is very well structured showing two parallel stories. One of the Zealots’ revolts against the Romans, led by Barabbas.
This political-religious movement was founded by Judas El Galileo and was the most violent of its time.
This Barabbas is the one who will be released by Pontius Pilate some time later before the Jewish people protests against Jesus. And the other part of the story focuses on the teachings of Jesus regarding humanity from the pacifist standpoint.
The story ranges from the very beginning of Pompey’s conquest in Jerusalem, to the culmination of the birth of the infant God in a manger, and then to the beginning of the ministry, life and work of Jesus Christ, until his crucifixion. .
The actor who personifies Jesus was Jeffrey Hunter, who passed away at the age of 42.
• The holy mantle
The nobleman Marcelo Galio (Richard Burton) arrives in Jerusalem when the governor Pontius Pilate sentences Jesus to death, and acquires the slave Demetrius (Victor Mature) who receives the robe that Jesus wore at the time of his crucifixion, a robe that will wear him through the path of faith and acceptance of the new religion that has been born in the world.
This will confront him with his entire polytheistic past, with his Roman culture and with the emperor himself.
It won three Oscar nominations in 1954, including Best Picture, Best Leading Actor (Richard Burton) and Best Cinematography. It was the first movie to be released on Cinemascope.
• The Gospel According to Matthew
The story is simple and the script is just what it says literally in the gospel. The director wanted to show the story of Jesus as real as possible and turned a staging that marked the passage of time into a cult play.
