Crowd tried to avoid the arrest of “Julito Kilo”

When authorities arrived at the residence where Julio de los Santos Bautista (Julito Kilo) was, a crowd tried to avoid arrest, while facing prosecutors and agents dealing with stones and bottles in the operation.

This was reported by the National Drug Control Directorate (DNCD) communications officer, Carlos Devers, during a press conference detailing the process conducted by authorities to find the chief leader’s whereabouts from what they considered “a powerful drug trafficking network. “

Julito Kilo was arrested during a raid on a home located near the so-called Los Muertos beach, in San Pedro de Macorís. Previously, authorities had carried out another operation in a town in the Juan Dolio municipality, in that same district, where they seized 88 kilos of cocaine and arrested two men.

In this raid, two bays were occupied, in one of which the medicine was found. They also found two M-16 rifles, with different magazines and capsules, three 9-millimeter pistols, cell phones, two motorcycles, and other evidence.

The city, already in the hands of the authorities, had high perimeter security around it, and according to intelligence reports, for the deposit and shipment of illegal substances.

In addition, several vehicles were seized, including two Mercedes Benz SUVs, a Lexus, a truck, a jet kit, eight motorcycles and seven boats.

There are three detainees so far, while the Public Prosecution Service and the DNCD are looking for other possible members of the international drug trafficking network.

The drug was sent to Inacif, while the other evidence found is being held in custody by the prosecution.
