The National Drug Control Directorate (DNCD) arrested Julio de los Santos Bautista (Julito Kilo) during an operation in San Pedro de Macorís.
The inmate is charged with committing crimes related to the hitman and drug trafficking.
His latest arrest took place at the end of April 2019 on Avenida El Puerto, in the capital, but he was released days later despite having found five firearms. Not only does he have a criminal record in the country, but also in the United States.
In the country, he has filed charges such as murder and drug seizure, for which he has opened at least six lawsuits.
Julito Kilo was deported from the United States after a seven-year sentence for a drug case.
So far, there are no details on how his arrest took place, but the DNCD is expected to rule on the matter in the next few minutes.
