Bachelor alum Taylor Nolan under investigation by health department … after racist reports and mental health advisor tweet suggesting ‘suicide’ leads to ‘multiple complaints’

According to Page Six, bachelor alum Taylor Nolan is under investigation by Washington state health officials after fans of the franchise unearth insulting tweets by the mental health advisor.

The department had previously said it was considering investigating Nolan after she received “ multiple complaints ” about her controversial old posts, which discredited BIPOC and LGBTQ people as well as the mental health community.

But a Washington Department of Health spokesperson warned people not to jump to conclusions, as the investigation “doesn’t necessarily mean that disciplinary action will be taken, just that we are moving to the stage of an investigation.”

Prior to this tweet scandal, Nolan – who first appeared on Nick Viall’s The Bachelor season – had not had any complaints since she got a license in 2016.

Spokesman Gordon MacCracken added that there is no timeline for the investigation, nor could he “predict an outcome.” The department did not want to say anything more.

According to previous reports, the most severe penalty would be ‘suspension or revocation of the license’, but ‘dismissal or withdrawal of the charge’ is also possible.

Nolan, whose mother is white and father is African American, came under fire in February after an offensive directed against several groups was exposed.

In the posts, she complained about ‘noisy black people’, saying that ‘Asian problems aren’t like that’ because she didn’t find stereotypes like ‘they have a small penis’ particularly offensive, tells Indian men to ‘shower’ before going to the club goes’, among other insults.

“I want to be clear that they are not taking anything away from the work I do today, they are literally how I got here to do this work.”

Since the scandal, Nolan has been largely offline.

Last week she shared a simple Instagram where she said: ‘Take time and space to refocus and think’.

Later in the week, Nolan posted a lengthy caption about how to stop Asian hatred below an image that read, “We’re not safe until we’re all safe.”

However, she did not elaborate on her own past of anti-Asian comments with the post.
