Proud Parents: On Wednesday, the high school musical actress shared the good news that the couple welcomed the baby the day before. “Jupiter Iris French arrived on Earth 3.23.21,” said the 35-year-old star on Instagram as she posted a photo of the baby’s hand in hers; seen in 2019

Ashley announced her pregnancy in September 2020 and revealed the gender the following month. The couple married in September 2014 after a relationship of less than two years.

On Monday she shared a look at her pregnant belly. Ashley stretched out her legs and leaned back to get a good look at her bump.

The star threw her blond locks over one shoulder and made a cheeky face as she looked to the side. ‘Any day now …..’, the singer / actress wrote the post.

The former Disney Channel star has been candid about the ups and downs of her pregnancy, and recently shared on her blog Frenshe about the ‘out-of-body experience’ of her first pregnancy.

She wrote: ‘I have to be honest, I haven’t gotten the very warm and fluffy feeling that my pregnant body is beautiful.

‘Don’t get me wrong, I am so proud of my body and I am so grateful to have been able to create a home and let my little one grow. However, it still surprises me a bit to see my body look so different. ‘

She continued: “It’s like I don’t quite recognize myself and almost like an out-of-body experience. Thoughts like, “Is that really me?” comes to mind. I think it comes down to body acceptance versus body love. I think you can love your body no matter its shape or form, but it’s the acceptance part that makes me stumble a bit. ‘

Ashley said that because she “showed up pretty early,” people said “very invasive things” to her, like “I think you’re further away than you think” or “Do you have twins?”

Invasive Statements: Ashley said that because she “showed up quite early,” people have said “very invasive things” to her, such as “I think you’re further than you think” or “Do you have twins?”

She added: ‘I think change can be difficult, but I keep saying every day that I love you for my body because it does so much, and creating is a wonderful miracle.

“I need to let go of the ego mind and realize that my body can even do this. It’s letting go of my own needs because my baby’s needs are more important. ‘

The actress concluded, ‘I don’t know what my body will look like after the baby is born, but I do know that I’m going to give it time, let it heal and take very good care of it.

‘I wanted to share this because I’m sure, like many other people, I was embarrassed that I felt uncomfortable at first. Still, it’s important to honor how you feel and understand that everyone has a different experience with pregnancy. ‘

She previously described the pain of walking on her feet, as she took to her Instagram story last Friday to discuss her experience with plantar fasciitis.

Ashley posted a snapshot of her white-stalked feet, writing, “The worst part of this pregnancy so far is my plantar fasciitis. It literally hurts to just walk on my feet.

‘I’ve never felt such pain and I hope that once the baby gets here, it will stop. I know there could be worse things, but for someone who is constantly on their feet, it can be pretty excruciating. ‘

Plantar fasciitis is a common condition in which a thick band of tissue connecting the heel bone to the toes is inflamed.

She later gave a video update to her 13.3 million followers: ‘Yes, it’s awful, it’s very painful. It hurts to walk every day … anywhere. It’s like your arches are starting to collapse because there is so much weight on my body.

“I mean, I think she weighs seven pounds now, and I’ve never experienced that before. And I am very short, I am 5’3. So it has certainly been painful. I really hope it goes away eventually, or when she’s beside me. So, if you guys have any suggestions send me a DM. Let me know what to do. ‘

The Suite Life of Zack & Cody star revealed that their nursery is coming together as she and husband Christopher, 39, prepare for their new addition.

She said, ‘It’s just getting close, and finally everything decided to come straight to her room, which I was really nervous about it not coming at all.

So we’re just in that way of putting the room together, and it looks so good. I can’t wait to share it with you on Frenshe. Just get all those things done so that we don’t have to have anyone in the house afterwards. ‘

Ashley recently told Us Weekly, ‘It’s physically exhausting. I showed up very early, where some of my friends really didn’t show up until later in their pregnancy. So I think they probably have a lot more time to enjoy it. It’s been a bit difficult at times and it’s tough.

‘The physical exhaustion of it is difficult. And I think this time now [with] the pandemic, I don’t feel comfortable going to a chiropractor or an acupuncturist where they would normally get you through this moment. But we’ll get through it. We are almost there.’

The couple confirmed the gender of their first child in a post shared with followers in October.

Captioning photos of herself cutting into a pink filled cake, Ashley wrote: ‘This year has clearly been tough. For so many. Ups and downs, and an emotional rollercoaster.

‘I think this day was by far my favorite day EVER! I cried that I was so happy. ‘
