The Flash and Career of Fernando Tatis Jr. came to a sudden stop on Tuesday when the San Diego Padres star’s short stop slowly walked off the field after a rare pitch in an exhibition game.
The Padres said Tatis had an uncomfortable feeling in the left shoulder and would be reevaluated on Wednesday.
Tatis went into the hole and hit a backhand-grounder in the third inning, hit by Cincinnati’s Jonathan India in Peoria, Arizona. Tatis’s throwing motion seemed out of place, even though it came out.
Tatis, 22, began to leave the diamond and was greeted by manager Jayce Tingler and a coach. After a few minutes on the couch, Tatis walked towards the clubhouse accompanied by a coach.

Trey Mancini had two hits for Baltimore, including his second home run and recently signed Maikel Franco hit his first home run in the Orioles’ 4-3 victory over the Rays.
The game was won by Dominican César Valdez (1-0), who threw 3.0 acts, accepted three hits, one run and his ERA is 1.80.

Washington put some effort into its infield plans by using regular second baseman Starlin Castro as the starter in third place, instead of Carter Kieboom, who hit .167 this spring with 12 strikeouts in 36 on-bats in the A-clash the Cardinals and Nationals were tied on 5 rounds.
Luis García started second for Castro and went 3-2, including a tubey. Juan Soto went 2-0 and Victor Robles 3-1.

Francisco Lindor homered for the third game in a row and for the fourth time in five games for New York. JD Davis also homered. Kevin Pillar produced a triple and a single and the Mets defeated the Marlins 5-3.
Marcus Stroman made his fifth start and gave up three runs and nine hits in more than five innings. For the Marlins, Starling Marte produced a double and a single.

Corey Kluber made his third start for New York and gave up a dirty run with three hits and three walks in 3 2/3 innings. Mike Tauchman started the game with his third homerun. Tyler Wade had two basehits and walked and scored a run. Greg Allen and Chris Gittens led off the eighth with consecutive homeruns, in the game that tied the Yankees and Detroit for five runs.
For Detroit, Willi Castro hit 3-2, including a triple, drove in a round and grounded.

Chase De Jong had his second start in his fourth appearance for Pittsburgh and gave up a hit in 3 2/3 innings without giving up a run. Adam Frazier hit a homerun and a single, 17-for-29 (.586) this spring in the game in which the Pirates defeated the Twins 1-0.
For the Pirates, the game was won by Michael Féliz, while Roaning Contreras scored the save, after having acted in one inning and struckout all three.
Andrew Romine tripled for one of Minnesota ‘s three hits.

Los Angeles starter Walker Buehler was given a heavy penalty and gave up three homeruns in the first inning. Buehler gave up 10 hits, nine runs and four homers in 4 2/3 innings. Justin Turner homered for the Dodgers, who lost 9-6 to the Milwaukee Brewers.
