President Luis Abinader urged Major League Baseball players and famous Dominican figures to invest in the countryand pledged all the support of your government.
The president assured that the country is evolving towards economic recovery even in the midst of a global pandemic that continues to hit our population, and As an example, the start of the construction of the Hilton Garden Inn Hotel La Caleta, La Romana, the cost of which is $ 17 million and will create more than 300 direct jobs in that community.

“A project that has our support and the blessing of an entire country on its way to economic recovery, even in the midst of a global pandemic that continues to hit our people,” the president said.
Abinader argued that the hotel structure will enable the economic start of La Romana, which he added, will contribute to the socio-economic development of the Eastern region.
The president said the new investment will positively impact the socio-economic development of the Eastern region and become another tourist attraction in the country.
Abinader said the government is coping with the coronavirus pandemic and “getting closer and closer to the end so that we can quickly return to a new standard that will allow us to get the most out of investment in the sector.”

He pointed out that the immediate scope of this intervention ranges from the construction and access roads of the pedestrian street of Playa Caleta to the construction of a new cobblestone pavement that includes sidewalks and enclosures.
