A security camera captured the gruesome moment when a bolt of lightning killed a man and injured three others hiding under a tree in India during a rainstorm.
The tragic strike took place on March 12 at the Signature Villas apartment complex in Gurgaon, a town in the north Indian state of Haryana, where the four men were part of the horticultural workforce, NDTV reported.
The images show them crouching by the tree while lightning strikes. Three of them immediately collapse, while the fourth, leaning against the tree, falls a second later.
One of the men was hospitalized with severe burns. The other two are said to be out of danger, the news outlet said.
