CHICAGO – Authorities say a woman with a history of hiding on planes has been arrested for trying to sneak onto a flight at Chicago’s O’Hare International Airport.
Marilyn Hartman’s arrest on Tuesday came two weeks after a judge turned down a plea deal that would have given her probation for a previous stowaway attempt on a flight.
She also has airport-related arrests in Arizona.
Hartman, 69, is now in custody on an infringement charge. Hartman reportedly left the facility where she was staying during electronic surveillance.
The device allowed Cook County deputies to track her on her way to O’Hare. Deputies activated an alarm on Hartman’s device as she approached Terminal 1, where she was arrested.
