The exit polls published by the national media on election night gave victory to the candidate of the Yanist movement, Yani Rosenthal, by a very narrow margin.



Luis Zelaya, presidential candidate of the Recover Honduras movement, in turn, has repeatedly reiterated his election victory and questioned the Exit polls, in which your opponent won with a difference of more than 5%.

Zelaya denounced on his social networks this Monday that foreigners of Jewish descent threatened his personal chat, while informing that he will hold a press conference to showcase his triumph.

“It is not with threats that they will intimidate us or force us to give up our country’s struggle. We will not accept candidacies imposed by organized crime in PLH.

Yani claims victory

Candidate Yani Rosenthal has said firmly that he won Sunday’s primaries. Although the CNE does not provide official results, Rosenthal believes it was imposed by a big difference from Luis Zelaya.

“We have won overwhelmingly, now we are going to unite the Liberal Party and the opposition. Liberal brothers are welcome, we need each one of you to rebuild the party,” the businessman and liberal candidate for the Honduras presidency posted on his own. social networks.
