The Battle Royale from Respawn Entertainment Apex Legends made its debut on the Nintendo Switch last week and now a week later the developer has rolled out a new update for all versions of the game.
Particularly for the Switch version, this fixes “various” Switch bugs, but does not go into detail on what these fixes are. Tons of other bugs have apparently been ironed out as well. Here are the full patch notes, courtesy of the official Respawn Twitter account:
Apex Legends version 1.07 (March 15, 2021):
The new @ playapex patch just went live:
- Fixed heat shield audio bug and a rare exploit
- Heat shields removed from the pool
- Fixed some bugs with Loba’s tactical
- Fixed issues where various event skins textures were missing
- Various Switch fixes

Ooh, too: fixed the bugged sound on the Bangalore heirloom!
Hopefully, in some future updates, port specialist Panic Button can also make an attempt to fix some performance issues. Check out our full review for more information on the Switch version.
