Bollywood megastar Aamir Khan shocked his fans on Monday after he announced he was quitting social media. The actor took to Twitter to thank fans for their wishes and blessings on his birthday. The actor turned 56 on March 14.

It was previously reported that Aamir has completely disconnected from the online world. The actor had decided to turn off his cell phone until Laal Singh Chaddha’s release.
On the work front, Aamir will next appear in Advait Chandan’s Laal Singh Chaddha. The film is the Hindi remake of the 1994 film Forrest Gump starring Tom Hanks and Robin Wright. Kareena Kapoor also stars with Aamir, and Mona Singh plays a central role. Ammir will portray a Sikh man in the film.
On the other hand, Aamir will make a cameo in his friend Amin Hajee’s directorial debut Koi Jaane Na. The actor will appear in a groovy song with Elli Avram.
