Due to complications derived from Covid-19, he died this Sunday Dr. Carlos Coello in San Pedro Sula.
After nearly a month in a unit of Intensive Care Unit (ICU) of the Honduran Social Security Institute (IHSS), the doctor lost the fight against the coronavirus.
The news was announced through his social networks by the president of the IHSS Physicians Association, Carlos Umaña, who mourned the death of another frontline warrior.
“Another frontline hero is leaving us, Dr. Carlos Coello. Our condolences to his family and medical union,” wrote Umaña.
One year after a pandemic, more than 78 doctors they have lost the fight against the coronavirus in Honduras.
