The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild turned four years old last week, but that doesn’t mean fans of the game are almost done finding new secrets.
A newly discovered glitch called ‘Collision Overload’ has been discovered, allowing players to run underwater virtually anywhere and avoid all enemy attacks. It works by making Link’s collision detection messy, meaning Guardians, Lynels, and the like just can’t hit you with their attacks; on the other hand, you can’t damage them either.
Unfortunately, fixing the glitch is not easy. As explained by Gaming Reinvented in the video below, you’ll need several multi-shot arcs and shock arrows to get started, and then you need to follow the steps shown very carefully. There are weapon sync tricks to perform, and you’ll have to go ahead and throw these weapons into the water hundreds of times for the glitch to take full effect. We told you it was complicated …
Once you’ve done it, you can pose for cool social media posts like this one. Lynels are nothing, right?
We’ve run into many more issues like this over the past few months so be sure to check those out if you want more. In the meantime, let us know if you’ve ever tried to accomplish something like this in-game with a comment below.
