Meghan and Harry say their second child is a girl.
The two made the revelation in their interview with Oprah Winfrey that aired on Sunday evenings, a rare positive moment in a conversation that focused mainly on their struggles within the royal family.
Their first child, son Archie, will turn 2 in May.
Harry said “to have a boy and then a girl, what more could you want? But now we have our family. We have the four of us and our two dogs. “
Harry, who wore a gray suit while sitting next to his wife at a distance from Winfrey, joined the interview after Meghan talked to Winfrey alone.
He denied having blinded the queen with the news that he and Meghan would be resigning from their royal duties, saying it was preceded by several conversations.
“I never blinded my grandmother,” said Harry. “I respect her too much.”
However, he said that his father, Prince Charles, is no longer taking his calls.

Meghan Markle told Oprah Winfrey that she had suicidal thoughts after marrying Prince Harry, and the palace prevented her from getting help.

Meghan Markle told Oprah Winfrey that shortly after her marriage to Prince Harry, she realized that the royal family’s institution would not protect her.
In their pre-recorded interview on Sunday night, Meghan told Winfrey that “Not only was I not protected, but they were willing to lie to protect other members of the family, but they were unwilling to tell the truth to protect me. and my husband. ”She didn’t give specific examples.

“That’s been what’s been really tricky over the years, is when perception and reality are two very different things,” said Meghan. “And you are judged by the perception, but you live the reality of it.”
Meghan also revealed that she and Harry were technically married a few days before the ceremony that was being watched by the world.
After a brief intro with Winfrey talking about the couple’s wedding and subsequent announcement that they would resign from their royal duties, Meghan walked into the backyard of the interview.
“You are really having a baby!” Winfrey shouted when she saw Meghan’s baby bump under her black Empire-style dress.
Meghan said she would reveal the baby’s gender later in the interview if Harry joined.
Winfrey and Meghan said they were with a friend of Winfrey’s because they liked the setting.
They made it clear that no question would be off limits and that Meghan and Harry would not be paid for the interview.
