Bethenny Frankel ripped out Meghan Markle on Sunday over her upcoming TV all – dismissive of the Duchess as a “relatively unknown actress” now making “hundreds of millions” of dollars thanks to her short time as a senior royal.
The Real Housewives of New York City star – who once dated Markle’s ex-husband, producer Trevor Engelson – took to her “almost insurmountable” time as a royal just hours before Markle’s all-encompassing interview on Twitter.
“Cry a river for me” Frankel tweeted to her 1.5 million followers, who soon brought up the Duchess’s past life as a “Deal or No Deal” briefcase model.
“The plight of being a game show host, quite unknown actress, suffering in a palace, w tiaras and weddings with seven figures for TWO WHOLE YEARS to be a household name w @Oprah on speed dial, 7 m for interviews, hundreds of millions in media deals, ”added Frankel.
But after ripping Markle apart, Frankel had a very different message for the Duchess’s husband, Prince Harry, despite his involvement in the same conversation with Oprah Winfrey.
“I 100 give Harry a break,She wrote, without elaboration.
The reality TV star – no stranger to public feuds and scandals – toasted the royal couple’s suggestions that they want a quiet life away from the spotlight.
“This is not the way to generate less press and cannot be filed under the guise of privacy to avoid a repeat of previous events,” she wrote of the highly anticipated interview, which will air Sunday at 8pm.
Frankel reminded critics who “hate me because I say so” that she never shied away from speaking up.
She also a British follower retweeted who replied to her thread by writing, ‘Finally. Bethenny says what we all think in the UK. “
However, some followers suggested that Frankel was a hypocrite, sharing magazine covers where she complained about her ‘struggles’ and ‘divorce hell’ after becoming famous on reality TV.
So strange that Meghan would want to tell her story. It’s really unheard of for a woman to go to the press to tell her side, ‘a New Jersey follower named Jill wrote in a sarcasm-filled reply to Frankel.
