Today we had a special stream for Granblue Fantasy’s 7th anniversary and while the main focus was on the source game and what’s happening for this joyous occasion, the developers had previously confirmed that we would see our next Granblue Fantasy Versus character unveiled on the event and they have indeed delivered.
The fifth character for the second season of Granblue Fantasy Versus was revealed as Eustace who will join the roster at the end of April as the next member of this content wave after Belial, Cagliostro, Yuel and Anre.
While we didn’t get to see any of Eustace’s gameplay at this point, we did see his in-game model and were promised that the next trailer for the game, presumably the character’s full gameplay reveal, will be released on April 15th. will appear. .
Along with Eustace, we also got to see a brand new stage Dydroit Belt that will join the game alongside Eustace at the end of April.
Eustace becomes the game’s first weapon user, representing a weapon not previously seen in the roster, and his playstyle has been described as a mid-range fighter who not only uses his trusty lightning bolt gun, but also uses knives and grenades. and excels in the middle segment.
As a member of the Society, the same group that current roster members Zeta and Vaseraga are a part of, Eustace is currently highly relevant in Granblue Fantasy’s latest story event, Stay Moon. In RPG mode, he is joined by Beatrix, a member of the society, who receives a full 3D model, although at this point there was no word on a possible playable status for her.
