Katharine McPhee gives her fans and social media followers a first glimpse of her newborn son, who arrived on Earth less than two weeks ago.
On Saturday, the singer and actress shared an adorable photo of herself beaming with pride, cradling her baby boy in a baby carrier during a leisurely stroll.
“In case you were wondering … I love being a mama!” McPhee, 36, wrote across the top of the image, along with a colorful rainbow emoji.

With a smile that helped lighten the sky, the American Idol alum took a pose with her arms wrapped around her son, apparently in a California suburb.
She kept it casual but stylish in the fashion department in a black skirt, which came about mid-calf, and a fitted white shirt with long sleeves.
The Broadway star also donned white sneakers for their walk and had her brown locks pulled back into a ponytail.

McPhee, who has not yet to publicly share the baby’s name, teased fans by exposing only her boy’s head.
There was also a stuffed animal next to him in the baby bag.

The 71-year-old is already the proud father of five grown daughters: Sara, 40, Erin, 38, and Jordan, 34, who he shared with second wife Rebecca Dyer.
He also has daughters Allison, 50, and Amy, 47, from previous relationships.

The couple first met in 2006 when McPhee took part in the fifth season of Fox’s American Idol and Foster was a mentor on the singing competition series.
They started dating in 2017, got engaged while on vacation in Italy in July 2018 and finally tie the knot at a church in London, England in June 2019.
McPhee documented her pregnancy on social media with photos of her often showing her belly.
The Los Angeles native plays the role of a babysitter in Country Comfort, a new musical comedy series premiering on Netflix on March 19.
