Valheim player turns ocean into giant trampoline

Can We Ever Really Know the Nature of the Sea? Primordial beings lurk in the depths. It is powered through spaceWe still do do not understand how eels reproduceIn Valheimhowever, it’s a bit simpler: the ocean is a trampoline.

On the Valheim subreddit, a player called HotGuuuuu recently revealed the fruits of several days of labor: A gigantic slope that defies gravity that took an absurd amount of time to even assemble with the help of cheatsTo christen the disaster, HotGuuuuu put a boat on top and flew down the side of a mountain.

The inevitable result of this Godzilla version of a high school physics experiment was, of course, a collision with the ocean. Indeed, HotGuuuuu’s seagoing vessel eventually reached the sea – at hundreds of kilometers per hour. This caused the boat to bounce hundreds of meters into the air, then tumbled end over end until its journey finally ended in the branches of a forest.

Questions remain about HotGuuuuu’s findings. Did the boat itself bounce off the ocean, or contact the bottom of the shallow water so quickly that it could only popped up to ping off the surface of the sea? Where, in the great superhero sandwich of particles and collisions that is the universe, is the trampoline? We may never know. The only thing I can say for sure is that the boat bounced, and that’s proof enough to me that the trampoline exists.
