A leaked Elden Ring trailer reportedly circulating in online chat groups is buzzing with the internet as gamers are desperate for the video clip. This weekend, rumors surfaced of an upcoming re-reveal of the highly anticipated FromSoftware release, leading to a Microsoft’s denial regarding a rumored event and even chat about one potential Bandai Namco live stream
Now footage of the title has been reported to have been leaked – and VGC claims to have seen it. While the video cannot be shared for legal reasons, the publication notes that the off-screen clip is labeled confidential, showing “Soul-like melee fights, boss fights against a fire-breathing dragon and a large, sword-wielding foe and a glimpse. fighting on horseback in a large, open environment ”.
The clip – whose existence was confirmed by Bloomberg journalist Jason Schreier – would be only a small part of the trailer and no release date was shown. VGC reports that the title has been postponed several times internally due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic. The publication, which cites sources familiar with the game’s development, says the game is unlikely to be released this year.
Nonetheless, the existence of a confidential trailer suggests that – as reported over the weekend – a reopening may be imminent. We can’t imagine it will take too long for this leaked footage to make its way to the public, although Bandai Namco will no doubt fight fires behind the scenes. It could be an interesting day for FromSoftware fans.
