Kanye West and Kim Kardashian’s divorce documents show that they do not appear to be officially divorced yet, as the date still remains ‘to be determined’.
The divorce documents, filed on behalf of Kim on February 22, cited “ irreconcilable differences ” as the reason for the famed couple’s split.
Their divorce date, however, remains to be determined in the eyes of the court. The divorce date can become a point of contention when dividing assets, but Kim and Kanye have drawn up a prenuptial agreement that should settle the matter.

Kim and Kanye have decided to go their separate ways after nine years together
The divorce filing, according to Entertainment Tonight, reveals that Kim is seeking joint and legal custody of the couple’s four children.
She is also asking for partner support termination as an option for both parties in the divorce.
“The split is amicable and there is no drama,” an insider shared with DailyMail.com after the divorce was made public.
Money isn’t an issue as Kim is worth nearly $ 800 million thanks to her various makeup and beauty products, while Kanye is worth about $ 1.3 billion.
Tensions between Kanye and Kim started to build in July when Kanye decided to run for president.

During that campaign, an increasingly erratic Kanye called Kris Jenner “ Kris Jong Un ” and proclaimed his wife’s wish to have an abortion earlier in their marriage.
Kanye and Kim began dating in 2012 and became engaged in 2013 before getting married in May 2014 in a lavish ceremony.
The divorce is the first for West and the third for Kim, who was previously married to Damon Thomas from 2000 to 2004 and Kris Humphries from 2011 to 2013.
The kids have mostly been seen with Kim in Hidden Hills, California, in recent months, where the family owns a $ 60 million mansion.
Meanwhile, there is a farm in Cody, Wyoming where Kanye has lived while the former couple works to divide properties.
Kim reportedly stopped wearing her wedding ring in November. She and Kanye went to marriage counseling to try and fix things, but in the end it wasn’t enough to avoid a divorce.
The two have had little contact since October when they argued at her 40th birthday party at The Brando resort in Polynesia.

On Tuesday, Kim went to town for the first time as a single woman, heading to Beverly Hills hotspot Matsuhisa with sister Kourtney and a few friends.
Kim is represented in the legal proceedings by celebrity lawyer Laura Wasser.
The Sunday Mirror has reported that the final season of Keeping Up with the Kardashians will likely document the divorce.
It could also be part of a new Hulu series in the works with the Kardashian family.
