Canelo-Yildirim billboard live: view all results

Saul Canelo Alvarez defends his world super middleweight titles CMB Y WITH against the obligatory challenger of the first body, Avni Yildirim, in the main event of a DAZN card Saturday night at Hard Rock Stadium in Miami.

Alvarez (54-1-2, 36 KOs) has won titles in four different divisions (junior middle, middle, super middle and light heavy), and now he has to get past Yildirim to fight again the following May.

These are the results of the Álvarez vs Yildirim card in Miami:

In action: Zhilei Zhang vs. Jerry Forrest, 10 rounds, heavyweight

Pacheco dominates Gómez Jr. unanimously

Diego Pacheco wanted the knockout, but had to settle for a unanimous decision win of 79-73 that was closer than expected for the 19-year-old against veteran Rodolfo Gomez Jr, at super middleweight.

Pacheco (11-0, 8 KO) made some good punches, including some good uppercuts during the fight, but this was only the third time he made the agreed rounds and the second time he reached the fourth round.

Gomez Jr. (14-5-1, 10 KO) was a good test for Pacheco. He landed some strong punches and was seen intermittently as frustrated. It was also good finishing work for Pacheco, who completed all eight rounds for the first time.

Marc Castro lashes out with authority

At the start of the day, Marc Castro was far superior to his rival, running his left hand over Jhon Moraga to be knocked out in 2:29 minutes of the second round, in a fight with four, taking his second victory as a professional.

Castro (2-0, 2 KOs) dropped Moraga (1-3, 1 KO) three times in two rounds and ended the fight with a left uppercut. Moraga has had an impressive 19-7 MMA career, including a shot at the UFC flyweight title in 2013, where he lost to Demetrious Johnson. But those qualities have not been seen in boxing.

21-year-old Castro is just starting his pro career, but the Ryan Garcia’s boyfriend did the job without complications.

The rest of the planned fights:

• McWilliams Arroyo vs. Abraham Rodriguez, 12 rounds to the interim WBC flyweight title.
