MTV ‘forced me to quit’ The Challenge

Lolo Jones does not quietly leave MTV’s “The Challenge”.

The Olympian went on to rant about the reality show for a long time after she was seen quitting the match during Wednesday’s episode.

“Mtv’s challenge forced me to quit, and those are facts,” Jones wrote on Twitter Thursday. ‘I’ve never held up anything in my life. Heck, I’m one of the oldest Olympians because I’m not stopping, I was set aside for the show and was told it looked like I had to leave. “

Jones, 38, left “The Challenge: Double Agents” after talking to the other competitors and saying goodbye. Jones, who has competed in the Olympics in both track and field and bobsleigh, said she had to leave to further focus on training.

And this extra training time was apparently well spent. Jones won the first bobsleigh competition of her career at the IBSF Skeleton and Bobsleigh World Championships in Germany earlier this month.

However, it is safe to say that the loyal viewers of “The Challenge” did not like her to quit the show. And so she revealed that reality TV – gasp! – not quite real.

“There are so many secrets that viewers don’t know,” wrote Jones, who has appeared on the long-running show in recent seasons. “I hope people remember that the challenge is not a real competition, but a TV show. They don’t show the full picture, but they do show some fun. So before you write hate messages, know that you are a judge and jury without full proof

“The good news is that if I hadn’t left I wouldn’t have joined the USA Bobsled Team. I would have missed the team cut off by 2 days! If I hadn’t made the team I wouldn’t be world champion. So ultimately God determines our paths. God knows how hard I fought to stay after producer meetings “

It’s unclear why MTV would force Jones to quit, and the network has not commented on the allegations.
