The recordings correspond to events that took place before noon last Saturday, when heavily armed nationals of the four-letter cartel they simultaneously attacked three points in Tepalcatepec: La Bocanda, Voladeros and La Estanzuela.

Municipal police and residents, assisted by elements of the National Guard, resisted the attack.

Armed command shot the guards stationed on the ground as well as the National Guard crew members traveling in a Black Hawk helicopter.

In the Jilotlán area (Jalisco), the GN confiscated weapons – 16 weapons, 14 high-powered rifles and two short squadrons – and clothing supposedly belonging to the criminal cell.

During the crash, authorities reported the deaths of three suspected criminals and another 10 injured.

That same weekend, as a challenge to the Mexican army, members of the Jalisco cartel conducted patrols outside the 65th Infantry Battalion in Coalcomán Municipality, in the southwestern region of Michoacán.
