The Russell Wilson to the Chicago Bears hype is rolling full speed ahead. This after it was revealed that the Pro-Bowl quarterback would be considering a trade to four teams, including the Bears.
While Wilson has not filed for a trade with the Seattle Seahawks, he is reportedly unhappy with a lack of protection in the line of attack. So there are certainly tensions between both parties. Whether that results in a trade remains to be seen.
But even if Wilson isn’t on the trade bloc yet, general manager Ryan Pace would have to slam Seahawks’ door for a chance to bring a star quarterback to Chicago – especially considering it would save its own job after 2021 .
Pro Football Focus proposed a hypothetical transaction from the Bears, which would include a pair of defensive studs and a pair of first round picks.
The bears would receive Wilson for the following:

It’s hard to say there’s no player at the table when it comes to trading for a star quarterback – especially for a franchise that was historically bad at the quarterback position. Even a stallion like Mack.
While Chicago appears to be the least attractive of the four options – alongside the Dallas Cowboys, New Orleans Saints and Las Vegas Raiders – Wilson would reportedly like a chance to flip the Bears franchise.
But when Chicago offers the most, the Seahawks already have the green light from Wilson to give him to the Bears. It can help there too the Saints may be interested in needing Teddy Bridgewater and the cowboys are working to keep Dak Prescott in Dallas
But we are leading the way here. Seattle insists they have no plans to trade in Wilson off-season, and we’ll see if they stick to that plan.
