The presidential candidate has developed several encounters with young people during these days. He spoke to them about the environment and entrepreneurship.

Contact with young people in entrepreneurship, the environment and women’s rights is how the presidential candidate for the CREO-PSC alliance Guillermo Lasso starts his activities in the second round of elections.

Today he had several encounters with young people. Yesterday, according to his communications team, he wanted to talk to them via Zoom. Previously it was in five media, including radio and television.

And last Tuesday, he starred in the Meeting Point segment on a live broadcast from his Facebook account. This was supervised by a young woman and answered questions related to internships, rural education, the bachelor’s exam and even personal questions such as what was the best memory of her parents.

He said his idea is to eliminate Senescyt and give young people the freedom to choose a career to study. He pledged to promote tele-education that will be linked to improving Internet coverage.

But they are not the only encounters. He also spoke with a group of young people aged 18 to 27, some casual salesmen and others concerned about environmental policies last Monday.

Last night, Lasso met with the president of the Association of Municipalities of Ecuador (AME), Raúl Delgado, who invited him to attend the union meeting next week.

Delgado sent him a letter expressing concern on three issues: COVID-19 vaccines, rent arrears, and uncertainty.

Lasso promised to answer their concerns and agreed to attend the mayor’s meeting. (I)
