Travis ScottThe flash mob-like event on the streets of West Hollywood could cost him – as city officials take a closer look to see if he violated pandemic rules.
LA’s Dept. of Public Works tells TMZ … the city has not issued a permit for Travis’ pop-up meeting Tuesday in WeHo, as we are told the city has recently disapproved of giving them out because of COVID-19 – especially for not -essential meetings like this one.

In light of that, we are told that Public Works has plans to consult the city attorney’s office about any possible actions they would like to take, including possible fines. Public Works noted that although they are issuing citations for allowing violations … it was not certain that this would happen in this case.
As we mentioned … Travis collected dozens of bodies at a newsstand, which he decorated with his Cactus Jack signage – all as a way to announce the first issue of his “Utopia Issue” from iD Magazine. Limited editions were distributed to the masses.

You remember … Travis was made fun of something similar not long ago in the SoCal town of Downey, which ended up only costing a few hundred dollars – and McDonald’s covered the tab for him.
That’s not to say LA will do the same – the city council has worked hard to break blatant COVID rules. Members recently voted for the police to step up enforcement, and for the city attorney to impose potentially tougher penalties for those who ignore security measures.
