Júnior Lacayo made his right foot debut in Guatemala and gave the victory to Comunicaciones against Xelajú – Diez

Júnior Lacayo made his debut on his right foot in Guatemala. The catracho gave Comunicaciones the victory by scoring the third goal in the 3-2 win over Xelajú on the first date of the Clausura 2021 tournament.

The exOlimpia started as a headline. Argentinian coach Mauricio Tapia gave him confidence and he was not disappointed. It was the 58th minute of the game when Lacayito showed up in the area, took a rebound that crashed into the post and sent it to save to celebrate.

Some cream team fans disagreed with Lacayo’s signing as he is not a big poster striker but he has served with the big spoon in his presentation and left a good taste in the mouth.

The short player with the “9” shirt came out of the substitution and after the score was congratulated by the coach and his teammates. Now comes the acid test for the attacker, which is to maintain the level in a highly competitive competition.

Communications started to win with a goal from Agustín Herrera after 13 minutes; Then Xela equalized with an own goal from Alexander Robinson, former Saprissa player, but soon at 49 Samayoa made it 2-1 and a minute later Castillo was level. The game went into a tour and Júnior Lacayo seemed to set the final figures at 58.

Lacayito was one such prospect that coach Héctor Vargas made his debut in the first division. He has played in two greats in Honduras, Marathón and Olimpia. With the greens he was champion in the Clausura 2018 and now he will try to help the creams to take the title.
