James FrancoThe sexual misconduct lawsuit has been settled.
Franco, who taught an acting class at Studio 4 – the film school he founded – was accused by students of putting them in needless and exploitative sexual situations.
Students filed a class action lawsuit, saying that Franco was pushing the class to stage intimate and explicit sex scenes in an “orgy-like setting” … something that went far beyond recording such scenes.
The class in question was called a masterclass on sex scenes.
Both parties disclosed the settlement to the judge, although the terms of the agreement were not disclosed. In particular, money is not discussed.
Franco opened the school in 2014. Three years later it was closed.
