Monkeys break into a house, steal newborn twins and one of the babies was found dead in India | News from El Salvador

The animals raised some tiles and entered the house to take the little ones with them while they slept, the girls’ mother said.

A family in India had the worst moment of their lives after a group of monkeys entered their home and took two eight-day-old twin sisters.

The incident took place on Feb. 13 in the city of Thanjavur, Tamil Nadu state, according to the India Today portal.

Buvaneswari, the girls’ mother, reported that the animals had apparently lifted the tiles to enter the house and rob the girls while they were sleeping.

At first she said she was just surprised and started screaming when she realized there was a group of monkeys on the roof of her house.

However, he was unaware that his daughters had disappeared, local media reports.

But when she learned of the girls’ absence, the woman began to cry and the neighbors ran to help her in the desperate search.

According to the news portal, one of the babies was found alive on the roof of the house, but they still hadn’t found the other’s whereabouts.

It wasn’t until later that the other twins were found “in a nearby water” and pronounced dead by a team of doctors who arrived on the scene.

Police have started an investigation into the matter, local media added.
