Gordon Ramsay is looking forward to ‘seeing my f ***** g neighbors in Cornwall’ when lockdown 3 ends

Gordon Ramsay has a thinly veiled swipe at his Cornish neighbors after his much-discussed feud with them.

Several residents complained that his family spent lockdown 1 at their seaside home last spring; and the TV chef, 54, mocked them in a recent interview.

When asked what he’s most looking forward to when lockdown 3 eventually ends, Gordon joked, ‘I’m going back to my f ***** g neighbors in Cornwall.’

He also joked: ‘And guess what? I invited Joe Biden to breakfast. Just wait till you see who I got for the f ***** g breakfast. Big Joe! You know he’s coming down for the G7! ‘

The new president will attend this year’s G7 meeting at the Carbis Bay beach resort near St Ives, and Gordon adds that his neighbors would go ‘crazy’.

Gordon angered locals after moving to his second home in Cornwall during the coronavirus crisis, despite the government urging the British not to travel.

The star – who has since returned to London – has been spotted a number of times on long excursions while trips were still limited to an hour a day, including a beach walk with his whole family.

At the time, the ardent chef was joined by wife Tana, 46, and three of their five children – Jack, 21, Matilda, 18, and Oscar, one – on a brisk walk on the sand.

The Hell’s Kitchen star also ended up in hot water with the local coast guard, who reportedly gave him an official warning about his apparent violation of lockdown guidelines.

Sources indicated that Gordon was seen in Rock, Fowey, Port Isaac and Newquay – some distance from his £ 4 million home in Trebetherick.

While people with second homes are not allowed to travel back and forth during lockdowns, choosing a home and length of stay was not against official advice.

A friend of the family told MailOnline: ‘The family sees Cornwall as their childhood home when the children are back from college and Gordon returns from filming around the world, where they spend all their family time together.

Ramsay boys: 'How fitting is it that my first best mate is now a Royal Marine commando and I have a new best mate in Oscar' he said of his sons

Ramsay boys: “How fitting it is that my first best mate is now a Royal Marine commando and I have a new best mate in Oscar,” he said of his sons.

“They’ve been there for 10 years and Jack lives there full-time too. Most of their neighbors are so hospitable and love to be part of the community.

“The campaign against them is hurtful and unnecessary at a time when we should all come together and support each other.”

Gordon also said in his recent interview that he can change a diaper with his eyes closed after spending so much time at home.

He said his youngest son Oscar had become his ‘best buddy’ during the lockdown and that he had changed about 150 diapers in total.

“Having the chance to spend that time with your family is unprecedented,” he said. So we were lucky that we were all seven together.

“The only one we miss now is Jack, he’s on the road as a Royal Marine, active, and so again, you’re dependent on those Zoom calls. But it is much more difficult for the 18-25 year olds because they cannot see a way out like you as an adult and parent can and so the reconnection is extraordinary.

‘And on top of that comes the quality time. I must have gone through about 150 diapers with Oscar. I can now literally change a diaper with my eyes closed and he has become my best friend.

‘And how fitting it is that my first best mate is now a Royal Marine commando and I have a new best mate in Oscar.

“I think he should have a buzzcut, I suggest we go number two at the top and shave it on the sides to number two.”

The chef is hosting a new game show on BBC One called Gordon Ramsay’s Bank Balance.

He said of this: ‘There’s something pretty dynamic about getting a show at 9pm gutted over nine nights on the BBC. You wake up in the morning and you tend yourself.

‘It’s rare that you get the chance to not only present your own show, but be part of that creative team. And that was the part that got me out of bed at 5 a.m. every morning.

You watch the success of The Chase, The Wall, Who Wants To Be A Millionaire? when we come back there is an absolute need for that kind of connection. And Bank Balance offers that. ‘

Hoping the show will be “ a great hit, ” Gordon added, “ We were there 12 hours a day, five days a week. [in lockdown]I would never think it was a home run. There will be a lot of looks at this thing. ‘

The format sees participants win up to £ 100k by answering questions against the clock to have the chance to balance beams over a pyramid at risk of collapse.

“I wanted something sophisticated that would intimidate any goddamn dude walking up those stairs,” he said of the gold bank’s vault-like set.

Gordon Ramsay’s Bank Balance debuts on BBC One on February 24 at 9pm.
