Dominican Liberation Party (PLD) Political Committee member Danilo Díaz reported that they would complete full scrutiny between the night of this Sunday and the morning of Monday.

He indicated that the National Electoral Commission, along with the technical team from the Election Affairs Secretariat, is continuing to work to count the votes from the internal elections held by the PLD this Sunday to elect 300 new members to its Central Committee.

Díaz also revealed in a press conference held after the polls closed that the survey was “setting trends” of nearly 40 percent, but that positions may undergo variations at the time, suggesting they may fall or rise depending on the remaining 60 percent. hundred.

“It may be that those who are at the top go down or rise more, but there may be a displacement of up to ten places due to the results of a province where an applicant has some influence, etc.” concluded Danilo Díaz .

On the other hand, he said a bulletin will be offered Monday afternoon with the full control and the results will be updated live all night through his digital portal.

He revealed that for greater transparency of the process, access to the system was created for all candidates of the PLD’s Central Committee at the national level and that the process for consolidating the voting records would be automatically updated once the reports came in.
