Call Of Duty: Black Ops Cold War Patch Notes – League Play Changes and More

Treyarch has released the latest update for Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War and it will affect several game modes including the standard competitive multiplayer, Zombies and League Play. If you took part in League Play this weekend, you may need to come up with a new strategy to replace your trusty RC-XD score streak.

The RC-XD is limited in League Play, which means you’ll want to come up with a new low-level alternative before you get caught off guard by this change. In addition, own fire has changed slightly, converted to damage after the second team kill, and damage returned to the attacker. If you get two more team kills, you will be kicked out of the match.

Other changes include fixing an issue on the Express card that allows you to capture a Hardpoint zone without actually being in it, and tweaking some UI issues. In Zombies, you will also not be teleported off the map when others use it in the village area, nor will you be able to stand on the craft table. Globally

  • Fixed an issue where the League Play button was showing in Combat Record in Barracks.
  • Fixed an issue where all non-Master Calling Cards showed negative values ​​in Challenges Menus.

Multiplayer

  • Fixed an issue on Express where it was possible to capture Hardpoint outside the zone.

Play competition

  • Own fire is now converted to attacker damage after the second team kill and players will be kicked after two additional team kills.
  • Added “Results Processing” display.
  • Improved images on the “Processing Ladder Result” screen.
  • Fixed an issue where details from a previous League Play event could be displayed incorrectly.
  • Fixed an issue where players could not scroll up and down the league ladder.

Zombies

  • Fixed an issue that could cause players to be teleported out of the map when others used teleporter in the village area.
  • Closed exploit that allows the player to stand on a work table.
  • Fixed an issue where the upgrade icon was grayed out when the player had enough to upgrade at the Armory.
  • Added “Seasons” icon for “Firebase Z” challenges in the Challenges Menu.
