The Cuban singer Yotuel Romero, a former member of the Orishas group, shared his call about “Homeland and Life” with People of the Zone Y Descemer Good

“‘PATRIA y VIDA’. The five separate fingers are five independent units. Close them and the fist multiplies the force,” wrote Yotuel alongside a photo taken in Miami on which he appears with the above phrase written on his torso, along with Descemer Good Alexander Delgado Y Randy Malcom

While the rapper and music producer hasn’t disclosed any details, Descemer may be a new addition to the theme he is preparing together with Gente de Zona and Maykel Osorbo, to sing for the freedom of Cuba.

In late December, the news broke and it was learned that Maykel, an activist and member of the San Isidro MovementHe had already recorded his part of the song in Havana. That’s what activist Esteban Rodríguez said at the time CiberCuba that it was a version of the controversial topic Hopefully succeed, with which Orishas got into a dispute Silvio Rodriguez

However, it’s possible that the artists chose to give it the powerful name of Homeland and Life to his song, which no doubt has many Cubans impatient.

Yotuel also shared an image of it Luis Manuel Otero Alcantara and another by Maykel Osorbo, with the same text, which seems to be related to the music video to be filmed in Miami and Havana.

Yotuel and Descemer as well as the members of Gente de Zona have become very active in their condemnations and criticisms of the Cuban government, often demanding freedom, democracy and respect for human rights in Cuba.
