Along with the release of the Unova Pokémon Munna, the Valentine’s Day event will bring a new raid rotation Pokémon GO
Into the full raid rotation Pokémon GOThe Valentine’s Day event, along with our tips, is as follows:
Row one
- Spurr
- Feebas – Shiny capable, increased odds
- Illumise – Suitable for glossy, standard opportunities
- Munna
- Ralts – Shiny capable, standard odds
- Volbeat – Shiny capable, standard odds
Nothing is too crazy here. If you don’t have Shiny Feebas, it has a pretty increased Shiny speed, but it’s not that uncommon in the wild during events. I suggest keeping your passes because if you are a long-term player, you will end up having no problem adding the purple fish to your collection. Munna is a strain to chase if you want one with a drip floor, but it will be available in the wild otherwise.
Level three
- Alomomola – Shiny capable, odds still unknown
- Espeon
- Gardevoir
- Gallade
- Togetic
- Umbreon
Alomomola in raids has a good chance of a fairly rare strain even without its Shiny release, but Niantic pulled off a quick one and did indeed secretly release Shiny Alomomola for the event. Currently it is expected to be available only on raids and in tasks.
Level five
- Latias – Shiny, standard legendary odds of about one in 20
- Latios – Shiny, standard legendary odds of about one in 20
The twin Dragon / Psychic types are continuing their reign of Tier Five, and we still have a long time to come after them. While the Valentine’s Day event closes on Thursday, Latias / os will not depart until Saturday, February 20 at the beginning of Pokémon GO Tour: Kanto, at which point the Legendary Birds and Mewtwo take over.
Mega raids
- Mega Ampharos – Shiny, standard Mega Raid odds of about one in 60
- Mega Gyarados – Shiny, standard Mega Raid odds of about one in 60
- Mega Pidgeot – Shiny, standard Mega Raid odds of about one in 60
This continues from the previous rotation, and probably Gyarados is the most useful in the longrun here. However, remember that the Lunar New Year event has given us free Mega Gyarados energy through Timed Research.
Whatever robberies you do, good luck out there, dude Pokémon GO trainers!
