It’s been an exciting weekend for many Nintendo Switch owners with the first major release of the year Super Mario 3D World + Bowser’s Fury now available.
It’s not just us fans who enjoyed the game. Yesterday, Goichi Suda, aka “Suda 51” (and the director of the upcoming Switch exclusive No more heroes III) shared the following tweet showing off his own copy of the game and both new Super Mario amiibo.
Many comments were surprised to see that you can buy the amiibo separately in certain regions and also noted how the new add-on game is labeled on the front cover of the Japanese version as “Fury Worldinstead of Bowser’s Fury.
This tweet of course also raised a lot of questions about No More Heroes III. While Suda has not responded to any of these comments, the game was delayed to 2021 last year.
At the time, it explained how the pandemic had taken its toll on the game’s development schedule, leaving the team with no choice but to delay release. There is still no word on exactly when it will arrive this year.
In addition to Suda51, Bowser (sorry, the president of Nintendo of America) played the game on the new Super Mario themed Switch this weekend.
