FORECAST DISCUSSION:
Clouds linger tonight for some light snow showers that will develop around midnight. Light gusts will linger until the morning hours on Sundays. Unfortunately, the clouds will still stay in place as the gusts subside.

However, the main weather system this week will be a low through the region Monday to Tuesday. This system will bring significant snow to the region, with the heaviest being from early Tuesday morning until noon. By the time all was said and done we could see nearly double digit snow totals! We’re keeping an eye out for any subtle shifts in this system, as that could bring warmer air to the southern layer, causing snow totals to drop as more ice mixes.

There is also a possibility of another storm from Thursday through Friday, but at the moment this appears to be a mixed bag of precipitation.
