If you live in Washington State and want to get a COVID-19 vaccine, the state has made the process as simple as possible. There is a map to easily find the places where vaccines are administered. Here’s what you need to know about getting a vaccine in Washington.

This map shows where vaccines are available

A map shared by the Washington State Department of Health and attached below shows where you can get a COVID-19 vaccine.

This map lists all the places where you can get the COVID-19 vaccine. Just zoom in on the regions near where you live to see the closest locations. In the full map here, you can also go to the list of locations and click on the specific location that most interests you from the drop-down list.
Clicking on any of the purple check marks on the map will show you the facility’s name, address, phone number, and email address. Then, the comments section will tell you how to get vaccinated. Typically, you will need to visit the venue’s website and see if appointments are available. If there are no appointments at the moment, check back later to see if new appointments have been opened.

According to the Washington State Department of Health, vaccine inventory is limited, so not all organizations will have vaccines at this point.

In addition to using the map, you can also use the drop-down list directly below the map on this page, which displays all of Washington’s counties. Click on your province and you will see a list of shops and healthcare providers, organized by city, that currently offer vaccination appointments. When available, they provide links to places to sign up for an appointment or to phone numbers to call for more information.

Who is eligible for the vaccine?

According to the Washington State Department of Health, you must be in Phase 1A or 1B to be eligible, at the time of publishing this article. You can use the Phase Finder form to determine your eligibility. You need to enter your zip code first, then see if you are a health professional (or work in a healthcare setting) and work in areas where you are exposed. You will receive an answer if you live in a group environment with people over 65. After this, you will be given more screening questions to determine your eligibility.

According to the website, Washington State is currently on Stage 1B Tier 1 vaccines. If you are at this level or at an earlier level, you are eligible for a vaccination. This includes people 65 and older, people 50 and older who live in a multi-generational household, and high-risk health workers. You can read a complete overview of the requirements here.

The next level includes high-risk workers aged 50 and over in compound environments. Stage 1B level 3 includes people over 16 years of age with two or more underlying co-morbidities or conditions. It is not clear when vaccines will be available for these subsequent groups.
