Rockstar is looking for someone to capture cinematic gameplay for their marketing campaign, which probably means the GTA 6 trailer is on the way.
More than seven years have passed since the launch of Grand Theft Auto 5 and we have not yet received confirmation from Rockstar Games about a sequel. The developer always tends to ignore the media and keep quiet about the upcoming projects until they’re just a year or two away from launch. With some of the reporters who believe the following GTA game will be around 2023 or later, safe to say the game should be revealed sometime in 2021 or 2022. Now a recent job posting on Rockstar Games’ official webpage refers to GTA 6 trailer.
According to the job description, Rockstar Games needs someone to capture cinematic gameplay footage to use in online and TV campaigns. There is clearly a role to play in helping the team create commercial teasers and announcement trailers. Although Rockstar Games’ upcoming project has yet to be revealed, but our best guess is the new staff has something to do with it GTA 6 trailer.
With regard to the fact that Grand Theft Auto 5 is slated to launch later this year on PS5 and Xbox Series X | S, Rockstar Games may not reveal GTA 6 in 2021 as this is the sale of GTA 5 negative on new consoles.
Since the launch of Red Dead Redemption 2, we haven’t heard about the studio’s next project. However, some reports suggest that GTA 6 is still in the early stages of development and would not show up anytime soon.
Dan Houser, one of the main members of the Rockstar Games studios and the man who took over the helm for writing the story of Red Dead Redemption 2 and some of the company’s other popular titles left the studio in 2019. He and Lesley Benzies both played major roles in developing GTA 5, but they are now out of the business and it remains to be seen how it would affect it GTA 6 and the development process.
