Eredivisie Fibbed about being ready to play
Jose Mourinho has called Gareth Bale for lying about his fitness on social media.
Baal Posted on Instagram on Tuesday to declare itself ready to play, but then missed Tottenham Hotspur’s FA Cup Draw against Everton Wednesday with a muscle problem.
The Welshman reported positive training despite feeling uncomfortable and having had a scan the previous day.
“The post was not even his responsibility, I don’t know,” he suggested Mourinho
But the post showed ‘training great and I’m ready’ and was totally wrong.
“It was a contradiction between the post and reality.”
The Tracks boss explained that while Monday’s scan revealed nothing, Baal was still uncomfortable and that’s why he didn’t play against Everton.
“He had a scan, the scan showed no injury but his feelings were still there and coaches, sports scientists and medical people … we can never argue with feelings because the player’s feelings are much more important than all of us,” said Mourinho
