Larry King’s wife, Shawn King, speaks out after the late star’s will is revealed.
On Thursday, King’s handwritten will, obtained through multiple outlets, showed that King had requested that his $ 2 million estate be left to his children.
Specifically, the document cites his now deceased children Chaia and Andy, as well as his surviving children – Larry King, Jr., 59, Cannon, 20, and Chance, 21 – as beneficiaries.
Shawn was not named, and People magazine reported that the handwritten will is dated Oct. 17, 2019, two months after he filed for divorce from Shawn. His will was also written several months prior to the loss of his two adult children Andy, 65 and Chaia, 51.

“This is my last will and testament. It should replace all previous writings. In the event of my death, any day after the above date, I want 100% of my money to be shared equally among my children Andy, Chaia, Larry Jr., Chance & Cannon, ” King wrote in the paper, according to the magazine.
Larry King’s estranged wife Shawn King has pledged to provide “ further commentary ” on the will of the TV legend in the future.

Now, after seemingly left out of her estranged husband’s will, Shawn has spoken out and made a brief statement to Extra.
“We mourn as a family,” she said. “My boys just lost their dad – they are my priority.”
Shawn added, “I will respond further as needed.”

The outlet reports that Larry Jr. filed court documents requesting to become special trustee of his father’s estate.
The doctors reportedly said that because King and Shawn were in the middle of a divorce, she should not become a special clerk.
Larry King’s will was recently obtained through multiple outlets. It is reported that he wished his estate would be divided among his children.

“The Decedent was married to Shawn Southwick King (‘Ms. King’) at the time of death,” the documents said, per Extra. However, the deceased and Ms. King were actively involved in the ongoing dissolution proceedings in the Los Angeles Superior Court. The deceased and Ms. King were living separately at the time of death.

King died in Los Angeles last month at the age of 87.

No cause of death was provided immediately, but Shawn later confirmed that he died from a sepsis infection.
