After two years of talking about it, Taylor Swift yesterday announced plans to release the first of her re-recorded albums. The completely re-recorded version of her second album from 2008 Undaunted will be released in April.
It will feature 26 tracks, including six unreleased tracks written during that time and a whole lot more released around the same time. Undaunted used to be. The Undaunted reinstatement is part of Swift’s grand master plan to reclaim its back catalog from Scooter Braun and the hedge fund investors he sold it to.
The first full song Swift shares from the updated Undaunted is one of ‘Love Story’ biggest singles. The re-recording was previewed in a Match ad in December, and now it’s complete here. It kind of sounds like the original. Check it out below.
