The famous surgeon Raúl García Rinaldi has died today of a massive heart attack.
The information was confirmed by the president of the College of Physicians and Surgeons, Víctor Ramos, who indicated that García was in his office at the time of his death.
The surgeon worked in the Mayagüez area, who said in an interview with Galenus magazine that he arrived in the west of the island in 2001 after being invited to develop a cardiovascular center in that municipality.

In the same interview, García Rinaldi always wanted to be a doctor and enjoyed working 15 to 15 hours a day. “I can’t think of retiring or slowing down,” he said at the time.
García has published more than 200 articles and participated in more than 40 different health organizations.
