Alfredo Arias, Deportivo Cali coach, currently has a major concern: the few goals his team is scoring.
Although the Uruguayan coach is satisfied with the results achieved at the start of the season (his team leads the championship with 13 points), his two forwards, Marco Pérez and Ángelo Rodríguez, continue with the closed goal.
And if that wasn’t enough, midfielder Agustín Palavecino, who scored 15 goals last year, will soon be transferred to Argentina’s River Plate.

In this scenario, Arias said at a press conference that he asked the sugar shelf for a replacement for Palavecino.
“The board knows what my position is, with Palavecino’s first leg we lose 15 goals from last year,” he said.
“I asked for a player who can accompany the ‘9’,” later condemned the ‘Uruguayan’ strategist, who hopes they can meet this requirement.
About Franco Nicolás Torres, the Argentinian midfielder who arrived a few weeks ago but did not make his debut explained: “Tuesday to train again, because he has not trained for 10 days, he played a little with us this Wednesday.
The Verdiblancos will host the Águilas de Rionegro next Saturday for the sixth date of the championship.
