Here’s everything you need to know about tomorrow’s Winter Update stream for Street Fighter 5: Champion Edition

The Street Fighter 5: Champion Edition Winter Update stream will take place tomorrow at 9 p.m. PT / 12 p.m. ET on the Capcom Fighters Twitch, YouTube, and Facebook channels. In a new audio clip featuring Dan’s voice, we’ve been promised some “juicy information” about Street Fighter 5 and Dan Hibiki as a playable character.

We have confirmation that Ryuichi “Woshige” Shigeno, Street Fighter 5’s Battle Director, will drop by to also talk about Rose, Season 5’s balance changes, and new “mechanics” (note the “s”). It looks like this is going to be quite a long stream.

Based on what was shown during the Fighting EX Layer Garuda costume trailer, we have reason to believe Akuma might be hit by a grain. It looks like his light Hurricane Kick will no longer be able to cross beneath opponents while they are juggling.

At this point, we don’t have official confirmation as to who the fifth and final character of Season 5 is, but Capcom appears to be referring to Eleven, an early prototype of Twelve from Street Fighter 3: Third Strike.

Eleven was featured during Urien’s prologue story and was supposedly used by Kolin as a resource to bring Nash back to life. In Street Fighter 3: Third Strike, Twelve was known for excellent air mobility and the ability to transform into other fighters.

Of course, everything revealed during Capcom’s Winter Update stream tomorrow will be discussed here on EventHubs. Make sure to tune in with us tomorrow at 9 a.m.PT / 12 p.m. ET to see everything live.
